Hanger Recycling

Johnson Cleaners launched a ‘Hand Back your Hangers’ campaign in August 2008. Each branch now has a ‘Hanger Recycling Station’ for you to deposit your iconic yellow hangers. By doing this, you will help us reduce our commitment to plastic, which is great for the planet. So far, we have reduced the amount of hangers we use by 21%. We aim to improve further on this, so don’t forget to return your hangers to your nearest branch.

Re-Use

By having your clothes or household furnishings cleaned, altered or repaired, you are reducing the number of items that could end up in a landfill site…not to mention saving the energy used to make and transport replacement goods.

If you feel there are certain items that you will NEVER wear or use again, rather than bin them, why not take them to a charity shop? Someone else may find them useful and you will be supporting good causes. To have your items cleaned before you donate them, visit your nearest Johnson Cleaners.
