Sunday Times Best Green Companies

Johnson Cleaners has been chosen by the Sunday Times as one of the UK’s Best Green Companies for the second successive year. The latest recognition for the firm’s work in environmental sustainability placed the company 42 in the prestigious top 60 Best Green Companies list, an improvement on last year’s position of 45.

As part of our commitment to the reduction in the use of energy and in recycling materials, Johnson Cleaners have introduced a number of initiatives which aim to reduce the impact on the environment.

Carbon Policy

Johnson Cleaners now have a formal Carbon Policy. This details our target to reduce our use of gas, electricity and water by 10% each year until 2012. Through our methodical reporting and monitoring programme, we are providing our branch teams with advice on how to reduce and monitor their usage. A good way to allow our teams to do their bit for the environment!
