As part of our commitment to the reduction in the use of energy and in recycling materials, Johnson Cleaners have introduced a number of initiatives which aim to reduce the impact on the environment.

Carbon Policy

Johnson Cleaners now have a formal Carbon Policy. This details our target to reduce our use of gas, electricity and water by 10% each year until 2012. Through our methodical reporting and monitoring programme, we are providing our branch teams with advice on how to reduce and monitor their usage. A good way to allow our teams to do their bit for the environment!

For 2010, Johnson Cleaners have signed up to the National Environment initiative 10:10. The aim is to reduce carbon emissions by 10 per cent in 2010.
