Johnson Cleaners becomes Tesco Clubcard Rewards partner
18/11/10

Johnson Cleaners, the largest provider of dry cleaning services in the UK, has become the latest high-profile company to partner Tesco in its Clubcard Rewards scheme.
Through Johnson Cleaners’ partnership with the supermarket giant, customers will be able to redeem Reward tokens that can be used throughout the branch network of 480 dry cleaning stores.
The partnership comes following recent research undertaken by Tesco which revealed that dry cleaning vouchers were in demand from its Clubcard customers.
The Tesco Clubcard was launched in 1995 and the scheme has a base of over 15 million active customers throughout the country.
Mel Cheung-Turner, marketing director at Johnson Cleaners, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce our partnership with Tesco.”
“We are committed to rewarding our loyal customers and the Clubcard Rewards scheme is a great way of making sure that consumers are getting a great deal on their dry cleaning.”
Johnson Cleaners is currently completing a national £6 million programme to convert its entire estate to GreenEarth eco-friendly technology by 2012.
The innovative technology uses a liquid silicone cleaning solvent derived from natural sand. The same gentle ingredient is used in many everyday shampoos, conditioners and lotions, and breaks down easily into natural elements if released into the environment.
As well as GreenEarth dry cleaning, Johnson Cleaners offers a wide range of services including executive service, laundry and ironing, repairs and alterations and specialist cleaning for duvet and curtains, rugs, wedding dresses, suede and leather.
